Modern Oriental Romance

Giraffe Manor is a unique honeymoon destination located amongst the leafy Kenyan suburbs of Karen and Langata. It has been lovingly captured by Fine Art photographer KT Merry and her husband, Chad, who have combined their passion for avant garde photography with their determination to save the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

KT and Chad's love of travelling to remote areas and experience with luxury destination photography has introduced us to this beautiful venue. Here's everything you need to know to experience the beauty for yourself.

Manor Style

The Giraffe Manor encompasses all that is neutral and fresh. From natural colour tones, to the free-flowing textures of lighter garments, the Kenyan inspired, natural travel style will leave you comfortably inspired.

Accessories such as a large leather hat, appropriate open-toed footwear and oversized bags make for the ultimate travel companions on this wonderful honeymoon adventure.

Render Loyalty

Giraffe Manor offers a once in a lifetime experience that KT and Chad have grasped with both hands. Their establishment of Render Loyalty- a Not-For-Profit organisation-raises awareness about the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

Render Loyalty is driven by KT's vision to combine her artistic talent with her devotion to threatened animals, in a movement for change. Her Fine Art prints are sold in aim of raising funds. The photographs are more than a work of art; they are an experience in themselves.

You can find out more about Render Loyalty, and how you can get involved HERE.

Getting There

Giraffe Manor is located only a short distance from the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, and only 25 minutes drive from the International Wilson Airport.

One thing to remember before you get there is to update your immunisations. These include boosters for Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Poliomyelitis, tetanus, typhoid, rabies, and yellow fever. Because of immunisation requirements, it's important to meet with your GP AT LEAST 6-8 weeks before your trip.
